A developer client contracted us to work with him to construct two 3-bedroom semi-detached new builds in Horley, Surrey. We were brought in by the client once the building shells had been erected and made watertight to complete the full fit-out, turning the building shells into brand new, high specification homes.

Project duration

The project was completed over eight weeks.

Scope of work

Working to the specifications provided by the developer’s architect, we carried out the following:

  • All internal carpentry fit-out.
  • Fitting new kitchens.
  • Fitting all skirting boards and architraves throughout.
  • Building and fitting custom staircases.
  • Fitting all new doors.
  • Wardrobe fit-out throughout.

Challenges and special
requirements

The main challenge involved in this project was the need to complete a wide range of high-quality, bespoke carpentry and joinery jobs within a relatively short period of time. To address this, we relied on our project management skills and experience to plan our workload accurately and effectively, accounting for potential obstacles before they could impact progress. As a result, we met the challenge head-on, completing the work on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
